If I were an ordinary user I would be infuriated since I just bought my SmartThings Hub and am experimenting with this type of technology myself. I’m guessing they will be releasing a fix for iOS app soon that will support the refresh tokens in the next release cycle… If you start trying out refresh tokens and ditching the old ones, it’s harder to get things lined up and timing production releases with Apple app deployments can be tricky too.

It just makes sense to me as a developer of these types of platforms. This sounds very likely what they are doing.
